Mediterranean restaurant
Bar
Beer hall
Traditional Middle Eastern restaurant with a full bar, hookah lounge & belly-dancing entertainment.
We got the lamb kabob plate and chicken kabob plate. Very nice portions. The food was so tender and flavorful. Everything was very tasty. The staff was super nice. There weren't a lot of people, we arrived right at 11 when it opened, but more arrived as we ate. I can see this place being really popular they have good happy hour deals, and a nice stage for music or events. They have belly dancing Fridays and Saturdays.

I want to start off by saying there are thing to like about this business....like....It looks to be a FAMILY RUN BUSINESS!!! (Big plus for me!!!!) The staff was very friendly! They have a lot of beers in tap! And some of the food was very good! I am not normally a "buffet" guy...but a family member picked it for "Mother's day brunch"...and the buffet was....ok....They had some sauteed vegetables that were amazing! The food was always stocked and was to temp....but there were some shortfalls that bothered me.....I am not sure how much of the food was made from scratch....the pita bread had to have been "store bought"....and the gyro meat looked to have been boxed meat they finished on a grill? Both in my opinion huge "no-no's" when servings Mediterranean food! If you don't have a vertical rotisserie....you are not a Mediterranean restaurant! The meat was fine....but they didn't even have tomatoes to accompany the meat....(maybe a supply issue? In this market it could have been....)The kabobs looked to be from scratch but were VERY salty! There was some "American food" options as well (eggs...bacon.... cheese hash browns) and I had SMALL portions of them just to get a taste....and they were fine.... Finally...there was the bill....we knew the price before hand...and understand that for "Mother's Day" the price may be inflated...but when our bill came....they added 20% for a required tip as we had six people at our table! 20% for a buffet? On already inflated prices? Our service was fine....and I know there are plenty of restaurants fighting to stay in business....but 20% required tip for a buffet is just not right.....Who knows....we may be back...the food was overall....good! People at our table stated they enjoyed it....but I will pay close attention to what I order asking questions like "is this made from scratch in house?"...when we go....and how many we have in our group....

After making an online reservation, we arrived at the restaurant and found the parking lot full, which we took as a positive sign for a place we had not previously dined at. We managed to find a spot in the back. Arriving at 5:30 pm on a Friday, we caught the tail end of their Monday-Friday Happy Hour. My friend had a glass of Merlot and we selected a variety of appetizers from the Happy Hour menu: roasted cauliflower, the falafel plate, calamari, and the lamb gyro. The appetizers were well-presented, each accompanied by a flavorful house-made sauce. We enjoyed all of them. The service was excellent and efficient, and we look forward to returning.

Amazing food! Good service. Nice atmosphere and fun music in the background. Full bar and they have Lift Bridge Root beer in the can. Will have to come back and see the belly dancing the menu says is on Friday and Saturday. If you don't like Mediterranean like some of our party there are wraps, pizza and burgers. The Chicken Shawarma was everyone's favorite. The lamb was great too!

What a pleasant surprise! Wanted to have a date night on a Friday and found this place on open table. The food was delicious! We had the tour of Jerusalem, the steak humus, and this cheese they flambe which I am forgetting the name of haha. Everything was great. Highly recommend also that you sit on their patio outside if you get the chance. Will definitely be back!

Had dinner tonight at Ansari’s and Claire was our food servicer. We orders apps from the happy hour menu after Claire gave us some suggestions on their signature items, sauces, etc.We went 100% with Claire’s suggestions and informative descriptions of each dish as we’d never been there before and Claire seemed so knowledgeable on the menu. The food items were so absolutely delicious along with the baklava. 😋😋😋Our apps were fantastic which included steak chunks, hummus with pita bread, veggies, roasted cauliflower. We finished dinner with baklava. Everything was so tasty and Claire provided excellent professional service. Will definitely be back and ask for Claire!😀

Gyro meat on a burger?? Who would do this!? Well, I'm glad Ansari's does. Because next to pulled pork on a burger, this might be the best burger meat combo ever!Wowsa. Both the gyro burger and the traditional gyro were simply mouth watering. The tzatziki sauce didn't hvae a ton of tlavor but their spicy seasoned sour cream (I think that's what it is) was so good we'd buy a 5 gallon tub of it if we could! The falafel bites were also delicious.Service was fantastic, good outdoor seating area. Will definitely be back even though we have to travel from the north metro.

The atmosphere was great. They have inside and patio dining options. The food was amazing. Our server was friendly and fun. We will definitely be back. I forgot to take some of the pictures before we started eating so a couple of them are after we started.

I thoroughly enjoy my dinner here. The bar was lively but not drowning out everything else, I went during happy hour on a Thursday. The pricing was a little high, but it really depends on what you were getting. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a good meal, and the portion sizes were decent. My waiter was very attentive, and did a great job.

Update: They charged my card for more than the total I put down, shady.Yummy food & excellent service. Had the falafel wrap with chips on the side & a summer mocktail - it was all delicious and flavorful 👌🏻

Ansari's has a really unique vibe to it. The front half is so different from the back half. We loved that.We had an early dinner here last weekend. We started with the sampler platter as an appetizer. It looked so delicious that I sadly forgot to take a photo. We dug in immediately! The falafel is so so so good!! The spanakopita is perfect, the Greek salad was excellent, I didn't get to try the kibbeh as my husband ate it but by the smile, it was fabulous, and the gyros were very goodThe spicy red pepper hummus was a star as it was one of the best hummus I've had. Just divine. I could have eaten pita and that red pepper hummus and been perfectly happy. For entree's we both ordered 3 shishkabobs. My husband got 3 steak and I got 2 steak and 1 chicken. Be aware that there is no seasoning on the meat. The sauces are your seasoning maybe? It was cooked to absolute perfection.According to our receipt which we sadly didn't read before we left, we also ordered lentil soup. We didn't have lentil soup though. That's a bummer. Who wants to pay for something that they didn't get? I'm bummed I have to knock off a couple stars for getting charged for two things we never received.I do recommend this place with the caveat - check your receipt for random add ons.

I had the good fortune of coming across this restaurant on a recent trip! The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Our server, Khaled, was very helpful in helping us select a dish and introduced us to the world of Turkish coffee. =) A fantastic visit and I hope to return again next time I'm in the area!

Ansari's has fantastic lunch specials, most under $15. I had the kabob combo (kabob, gyros, Greek salad, and rice) while my daughter enjoyed the veggie combo (falafel, spanakopita, hummus, baba ghanoush, and Greek salad). Of course, I had to get a pistachio baklava for dessert.

The food was really good and well portioned. They have a very comprehensive wine and beer menu with many local brews. Grace was our server, and she was very attentive and pleasant. The decor is a little different, with multiple themes going on.

Service was great!... even though they were short staffed. Ari was the hostess who sat us and our server. She was SO nice & was doing the best she could under the circumstances. Thank you Ari!❤️ Also Johnny the bartender was amazing too!The food is pretty much always amazing! If you haven't tried the McAnsari's Burger, you are missing out! I asked for onions on it and it literally does NOT disappoint! My husband had the Italian wrap with their rice and chips.. So damn good. These guys take pride in their food and customer service. We'll be back forsure!!❤️❤️❤️

Ordered take out one night and food was so good went there next night to dine in. What I liked the most was the Greek salad. The dressing is homemade and has plenty of herbs and flavor. Veggies were fresh and good. The chicken shwarma was prepared well and had nice char flavor. Don't believe it was sliced off rotisserie though like a traditional shwarma. The rice would be my only complaint. Seemed like they used parboil rice and that just doesn't have that good fragrance to it, and tastes more rubbery. When I dined in I ordered the casablanca chicken. Which is marinated chicken I'm garlic cream sauce with onions and mushrooms. The dish was pretty good and I got it over couscous instead of rice. Excellent pita bread an hummus. Some of the best hummus I've ever had.

I recently revisited Ansari Mediterranean Grill in Eagan after a long hiatus, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of delightful. The restaurant offers a perfect blend of delectable Mediterranean cuisine, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service. The outdoor seating during the summer months adds a charming touch to the dining experience. The decor is tastefully done, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick and attentive service from the staff. Our server played a pivotal role in enhancing our dining experience by helping us navigate the menu and suggesting the perfect dishes. We opted for the "Taste of Jerusalem" platter, a culinary journey that featured kababs, a refreshing salad, spicy hummus, and freshly baked bread. The gyro on this platter was exceptional, with a perfect balance of flavors.A delightful surprise awaited us with the Saganaki, a flaming greek cheese dish served with bread. The unique presentation and rich flavors made this dish an instant favorite, and we couldn't resist finishing every last bit. While Ansari Mediterranean Grill may not be a dedicated burger joint, I decided to try the gyro burger. It was good, considering the specialty of the restaurant lies in Mediterranean cuisine. As expected, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyro garlic pasta ordered by my wife—truly exceptional and a testament to the diverse and flavorful offerings on the menu. One noteworthy aspect that stood out for us was the inclusion of chicken gyro on their menu, adding a delightful twist to traditional options. In conclusion, our dinner at Ansari Mediterranean Grill was a culinary delight. The well-curated menu, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance made for a memorable evening. Whether you're a fan of classic Mediterranean dishes or looking to explore something new and exciting, Ansari Mediterranean Grill is a definite winner. We left the restaurant satisfied, with our taste buds still savoring the flavors of a fantastic dining experience.

Stopped here for happy hour and had a great time. Service was amazing. We tried a bunch of different items and our favorites were the gyro & the steak bites. The happy hour vibe felt more like a chill local bar opposed to a restaurant with people playing pulltabs and watching sports.
